Small and tight, this Samething Riddim feels like a quick-fire dancehall set from Kyaatame Production, with just four cuts and no wasted motion. Global X’s “Style” sits nicely against Stinga J’s “Samething” version, the two tracks carrying the same straight-ahead pulse in slightly different moods, while the producer’s own instrumental leaves the rhythm bare enough to hear the bounce in full. That stripped-down shape is what gives the release its charm, really: a compact 2021 juggling with three artists and one clean version, plus that extra “Samething (E)” take for good measure.
