Samba Overview
In 2014, dancehall was full of energy and new sounds. The Samba Riddim, produced by Ancient Records, became one of the most talked-about riddims of that year. Ancient Records is a well-known label in Jamaica, famous for working with top dancehall artists and shaping the sound of modern dancehall. Aidonia, a leading voice in dancehall, brought sharp lyrics and energy to the track "Coco Powda." Aidonia is known for hits like "Yeah Yeah" and has a strong fan base in Jamaica and abroad.
