“Rub A Dub Riddim” leans into that early-2000s roots-meets-dancehall pocket, with a lean, chant-heavy set from Conscious, Jah Mason, Luciano and Lutan Fyah riding the same juggling cut. The selector’s choice of voices does a lot of the work here: Conscious opens with the blunt smoke anthem “Ganja Mi Smoke, ” Jah Mason pushes the spiritual uplift on “Mankind Live Up, ” and Luciano and Lutan Fyah keep the consciousness level high without flattening the mood.
