Rollinz Riddim – Livewyah Records

Out of Brooklyn, Livewyah Records lined up Rollinz Riddim in 2019 with a tight, street-level dancehall cast and a pace that sits around the 100 BPM mark on Alex Mobsta’s “4 Roses, ” which tells you plenty about the riddim’s pull and pocket. Furnace and Penny Don’s title cut, plus Shabako’s “Girls Money and Bimma” and M. C. Virus’s “Fimi Gogo, ” give it the sharpest hooks, while Jed-I and Eminoxx keep the energy firm and direct. It’s one of those LiveWyah runs that feels more like a local crew roll-out than a glossy showcase, and that’s part of the charm; the label was already pushing this sound from Brooklyn, and Rollinz fits neatly alongside their later trap-leaning dancehall work.
