Rhaatid Riddim – DJ Tzinas

Rhaatid Riddim is a 2014 reggae project produced by DJ Tzinas, bringing together Blackout JA, Clinton Sly, Masia One and King Lhota, Rivah Jordan, and Skarra Mucci over one shared groove. The lineup moves from Blackout JA’s A Iz 4 Afrika and Clinton Sly’s Ol Problem to Masia One and King Lhota’s Summer Love, with Rivah Jordan’s Nah Go Round You and Skarra Mucci’s Think About It rounding out the set. DJ Tzinas, also known as Kowalski, was already active across different reggae and dub-influenced releases by this point, and this one leans into a conscious, vocalist-driven feel rather than a heavy club push. Its identity comes from the mix of rootsy and lovers-style cuts on the same riddim, with the different voices keeping the arrangement varied while staying locked to the same warm, percussive backbone.
