REVOLT RIDDIM produced by JAMMIN’ RECORDS 2014
Revolt Overview
In 2014, the Carnival season was filled with energy, and one big reason was the influence of band leaders like Mighty. Known for bringing people together with music, Mighty helped set the tone for the year’s celebrations. The producer behind the scenes, JAMMIN' RECORDS, played a key role. The label is known for supporting fresh soca sounds and has helped launch many popular tracks in the Caribbean music scene. The soundtrack that year featured a powerful lineup. Ampa brought excitement with the song "Gwatel," making crowds move with every beat. Freezy added his own style with "Not On Dat." Freezy is no stranger to success—he is well known for his hit "Split in de Middle," which became a soca anthem in later years. Mighty teamed up with Drc for "Wibble Wobble," and also worked with Shit Street on "Poto." These songs kept the party going through the night. Motto joined the mix with "Bend Dong," adding more flavor to the riddim. Shit Street also featured Totti on "Bumper Low," another favorite among fans. During Carnival 2014, these songs were everywhere. From street parades to parties, the music made sure everyone was dancing. The Revolt Riddim, powered by JAMMIN' RECORDS and these talented artists, became the true heartbeat of the festival that year.
