Revelation Riddim (2011) – Rb Records

Sliding into this one like a small sermon over a stark dancehall cut, the Revelation Riddim came out of RB Records in early 2011 and keeps the message front and center. Jason Bless leads with “Praise Mi Lord, ” while Jorap’s “God Ova Devil” and Ron Testify’s “Cyaan Do Me Nutten” push the spiritual warfare angle hard, giving the rhythm a clear gospel-dancehall tilt rather than a party-first feel. The set is only six tracks and runs a neat 19 minutes, with two different versions of “Last Days” sitting back to back in the middle of the sequence, which makes the structure feel intentional rather than thrown together. It closes on the instrumental version, and that ending leaves the riddim hanging in the air after the vocals have said their piece.
