Result Riddim – Lazeme Music

Five vocal cuts and a version track make Result Riddim a tight little 2011 dancehall package, with Anthony Cruz, Kiprich, Jah Wayne, Baby Tash and Mojo Herb each taking a turn over Lazeme Music’s production. Anthony Cruz’s “This Face” and Kiprich’s “Any Bwoy” feel like the obvious pull points here, the former leaning into cheeky flirtation while the latter comes at the rhythm with tougher, more confrontational energy, and the riddim itself keeps a lean, digital pulse that leaves plenty of space for the voices. Lazeme Music also closes the set with the instrumental “Result Riddim Version, ” which gives the project a clean finish and underlines how stripped-back the production really is.
