Reload Riddim – Da Wiz Records

Da Wiz Records kept this one tight and to the point in 2014, cutting a four-track dancehall set that circles around just three vocal cuts and the instrumental. Que Da Wiz’s “Nuh Fraid Fi Talk” feels like the obvious anchor, carrying the producer’s own voice over a sharp, no-nonsense riddim, while Prince Pin’s “A Nuh Walk Over” brings a tougher, more defiant edge to the same framework. Blade Skeemaz and Ryme Minista’s “Trouble” adds a little extra tension up top, and the whole thing has that lean, local dancehall energy where the rhythm does most of the talking. It’s a small release, really, but the clarity is the point, with the instrumental tucked in at the end as a neat final nod.
