Following on from the history making first appearance of the Jamaican lawn bowls team in this years Commonwealth Games. Andrew Newell introduces this sun-shining summer dancehall riddim named after the bowls team. Nicknamed the “Reggae Rollers Riddim” The Riddim Compilation EP features tracks from reggae giants “Anthony B” and “Turbulence” and includes artists from the UK, Jamaica and Gambia. Reggae Rollers Overview

The bashment rhythm started as a bold idea in the studio, where raw street sounds shaped its foundation. The beat maker crafted a tough, rolling groove, giving it the energy that dancehall crowds love. The project soon caught the attention of BOWLS JAMAICA, a producer known for guiding fresh talent and pushing boundaries in the genre. BOWLS JAMAICA has a reputation for working with both rising and established artists, and has helped several tracks gain strong streaming numbers in the Caribbean and beyond. Once the beat was set, a powerful lineup of artists joined the project. Anthony B, a well-known voice in reggae and dancehall, brought his signature fire to the track "Nothing Ova Me." Anthony B is recognized for his hit single "Fire Pon Rome" and his album "Real Revolutionary," which helped cement his place in reggae history. Turbulence added his commanding presence with "All Fake." Turbulence is widely known for the international hit "Notorious," which reached audiences far outside Jamaica. The energy kept building as Pellachi Ft Volcano delivered their track "All White," matching the bashment rhythm’s intensity. Volcano - All White, also on "All White," contributed to the anthem’s street appeal. Ricardo Rawal’s "My Life" added a personal touch, giving the riddim another layer of depth. The bashment rhythm’s journey from creation to release was marked by teamwork and strong direction.
