Redial Riddim – Da Wiz

Rattling energy from Da Wiz’s 2013 dancehall cut, Redial Riddim keeps the focus tight with just four vocal entries and a version pull-up at the end. Blade Skeemaz comes in twice, first on the chatty “Chatting” and again with the tougher “Stabbin, ” giving the riddim its roughest edge before Que shifts the mood on “Love Me. ” Da Wiz himself closes the set on “So Much, ” which feels like the clearest statement here, with the version lurking behind it like a clean instrumental reset. It’s a compact juggling, but the sequencing gives it a little extra movement, moving from skeletal talk to harder street talk and then into the smoother, more reflective finish.
