Red Flag Overview

When the Red Flag Riddim dropped in 2016, fans across the soca world felt the energy right away. People loved the fresh sound and the way it brought everyone together for carnival season. The riddim became a favorite at parties and street parades, and even now, years later, fans still talk about the vibes it brought. A big part of the release’s success came from the artists who jumped on the riddim. Mr Vegas Ft Dj Cigar delivered “No Brakes,” a tune that got everyone moving. Mr Vegas, known for his massive dancehall hit “Heads High,” showed his versatility here, teaming up with Dj Cigar to create a real festival banger. Dj Cigar also put out his own version, “No Brakes — No Brakes,” keeping the energy high. Mr Vegas didn’t stop there. He linked up with Dj Star for “No Lazy Feet,” another party anthem. Dj Star followed up with “No Lazy Feet — No Lazy Feet,” making sure the dancefloor never rested. Wally British added her own flavor with “Red Flag,” giving the riddim another standout moment. The whole project was guided by MV Music, a label and producer known for shaping some of the Caribbean’s top soca and dancehall releases.
