Realization Riddim – Upper Cut Band

Upper Cut Band’s Realization Riddim keeps the focus tight: four cuts, one sax version, and no filler. Released in 2016 through Reality Shock and mixed by Kris Kemist, it leans into a clean live-band roots feel rather than anything overworked, with Luciano’s “One Of A Kind” and Danny Red’s “Robot Man” giving it the sharpest vocal moments. Half Pint’s “Come In” adds that familiar veteran warmth, and the whole thing stays nicely restrained, letting the rhythm breathe instead of crowding it. Adam Webb closes it out with the “Realization (Sax Version), ” which gives the project a final instrumental sweep and underlines how much of this release is about the playing as much as the singers.
