Real Medz Riddim moves with a clean, mid-tempo dancehall pulse rather than anything too rowdy, which gives the voices room to breathe; Devin Di Dakta’s “Ups and Down” slides into that pocket with a more restless energy, while Hazard’s “Immigrant” and Zagga’s “Thank You Father” tilt the project toward everyday struggle and gratitude. Jason Brown’s “Real” keeps the title theme in view without overplaying it, and the whole set feels like one of those small 2016 riddims that quietly holds its own.
