Rattys Theme Riddim – Island Jamaica

Produced by Island Jamaica, Rattys Theme Riddim arrived in 1997 as a tight two-track dancehall release led by Tanto Metro and Devonte’s Oh Ratty. The cut sat on a rare riddim built around a simple version and one vocal, which gives it that stripped, collector-friendly feel common to a lot of late-90s Jamaican singles. Tanto Metro and Devonte were already a strong duo in the era, and this one fits neatly into Island Jamaica’s 1997 run of dancehall productions.
