By late 2018, WMG Lab Records had this Push Riddim circulating in a tight little four-track set, and the energy sits right where soca and dancehall push against each other without losing the island swing. Dj Bravo’s “Push” is the obvious hook in the bunch, with K Press’ “Activate” keeping the momentum up and Bass Aka Trilo-G’s “Continue” adding a tougher edge before the instrumental closes it out. WMG Lab’s production leans on a quick, punchy groove that feels made for road season rather than the studio, all movement and bounce with just enough bite.
