2012 was a year when dancehall was still leaning hard into sharp, digital cuts and lean juggling, and Perspective Riddim fits that mood with just three tracks and no wasted motion. Ice Kidd’s “St Lucia Unite (We Need)” is the most overtly pointed cut here, but the whole set keeps the energy focused and spare rather than overcrowded, letting the rhythm carry the weight. Sikka Rymes’ “If Love Is” slides in with a smoother, more melodic touch, while Arthur And Benji close things out on “Longing For, ” giving the riddim a final note that feels more reflective than aggressive. With only three songs in the lane, the project moves like a quick snapshot of early-2010s dancehall rather than a full-length statement.
