Slik 4our Music kept Paradise Breeze Riddim in the sweet spot between party cut and laid-back dancehall swing, with a light, sun-washed groove that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to do their thing. Jay Dan’s “Party Night” is the obvious club-facing cut, all easy bounce and weekend energy, while I-Tutor’s “Vibes Deh Deh” leans into the feel-good side of the riddim without overcomplicating it. Jay Tee, Khalejah Englann and Nass all ride the rhythm with different shades of late-night bravado, and the producer’s own instrumental sits neatly in the middle, showing off the pocket the whole set hangs on. With nine tracks in all, including Slik Rrhymez’s thankful “Give Thanks” and Survivor’s “See Me Again, ” this 2016 juggling lands as one of those small, tuner-friendly dancehall projects that keeps its focus tight.
