Over Time Riddim – Krome Productions

Krome Productions kept Over Time Riddim lean and punchy in 2019, cutting it down to just two tracks and letting the pulse do the talking. Krome and Nassis’ “Work” and Bobo with Loose Cannon on “Cack Up” move with that clipped, street-level dancehall drive that favors attitude over ornament, and the short format gives both cuts plenty of room to hit hard. It’s a small release, but that economy feels deliberate rather than bare-bones, the kind of thing Krome has been circling in other projects too. In the label’s catalogue, Over Time sits comfortably as a compact dancehall drop: no extra frills, just two sharply aimed tunes and a clean snapshot of where Krome was at that moment.
