Over The Oceans Riddim arrived in 2023 on Adios Babylon Records, with Kiva handling the production and remix work across the project. The two-track release pairs Akae Beka’s Love Is The Mainstay (Kiva Remix) with Blakkamoore’s Take Time (Kiva Remix), bringing together a late St. Croix reggae voice and Grammy-nominated Blakkamoore on a concise rootsy set. Adios Babylon, the Brooklyn label founded by Kiva in 2004, has long leaned into dub-heavy and forward-thinking reggae sounds, and this one reflects that same approach with live instrumentation, programmed drums, keys, guitar, and percussion woven into the riddim.
