Outcast Riddim lands a little darker and more cut-to-the-bone than the name might suggest, with Muss Buss Productions keeping the focus on a lean four-track dancehall set rather than a crowded juggling. Oozy’s “Ah Nuh Nothing” and Ezzydan’s “Fed Up” are the two cuts that really sketch the mood: both ride the riddim with that tight, no-frills tension that leaves room for attitude and sharp phrasing instead of flashy ornament. Trema’s “Stay Focus” keeps the energy level up without breaking the pocket, while Basiq’s “Sell Out” adds a more pointed, street-level edge; Basiq was also working with Muss Buss around that time on his own solo push, which fits the song’s personal bite.
