Osaka Riddim – Snafu Records

Osaka Riddim is a 2018 soca release from Snafu Records, bringing together six tracks from five artists in a Carnival-ready package that mixes party energy with a few different angles. The lineup includes 5Star Akil on Personal, Kerwin Du Bois on Right for Somebody, LFS Music on Start It, Preedy on Warm Up, and Voice on Alive and Well, which also comes in an unplugged version and features the Bishop Anstey High School Choir led by Ms. Lorraine Granderson. Released on October 25, 2018, the project has a clear Trinidad and Tobago Carnival focus, with the choir-backed cut giving it a more uplifting, singalong edge while the other songs keep the pace lively and dance-floor friendly.
