Open Bar Riddim – Minto Play Da Riddim

Minto Play Da Riddim kept the Open Bar Riddim tight and to the point, and that suits the set nicely: three songs, a little over 16 minutes, and no wasted motion. Munga Honorable sets the tone with “We Want To Party, ” a straight-up feel-good cut that leans into the title’s late-night energy, while Lanae’s “Thank God Him Gone” flips the mood with a more personal, vindictive edge. Trauma’s “Life Too Nice” lands the other side of that same party equation, riding the riddim with a lighter, sunnier delivery. The whole thing arrived in February 2021, just as the year was getting going, and it plays like a compact snapshot of Minto’s dancehall style at that moment.
