By 2021, dancehall was deep into that sleek, rolling mid-tempo lane, and On The Go Riddim sits right in that pocket with a lean five-track set from The Parris Agency and Monstapiece Entertainment. The production keeps the pressure on with a tight, forward-driving bounce and a busy low end that leaves room for the voices to snap in cleanly, especially on Lyrikal’s “Dutty Waist” and Scrilla’s “Angle. ” Faith Callender opens things up with “Brek It Off, ” while Fiyah B and Kdm add their own angles without breaking the riddim’s momentum.
