No Apology Riddim Part 2 (2016) – Gafjam Records

No Apology Riddim Part 2 comes off as the leaner, harder-edged follow-up to Gafjam Records’ 2016 dancehall set, with four cuts and a tighter focus on the beat rather than guest-heavy variety. Beenie Man links with Craigy T on the title tune, while D Major’s “Fire Truck” and Craigy T’s own “Real Talk” keep the energy in the same lane, with BAY C closing it out on “Earzas. ” Craigy T, best known through TOK, had just launched Gaf Jam Records at the time, and this project sat right at the start of the label’s run. The riddim moves on a brisk 100-BPM pulse, all snappy drum programming and a clean, low-slung bass line that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to ride.
