MTR RIDDIM produced by EXTAL D’ULTIMATE DREAM TEAM ENT 2015
Mtr Overview
Back in 2015, a new dancehall riddim came out and made a big impact on the sound of that year. The riddim was produced by EXTAL D’ULTIMATE DREAM TEAM ENT, a team known for pushing fresh sounds in the dancehall scene. EXTAL D’ULTIMATE DREAM TEAM ENT has worked with many rising artists and helped bring a new energy to the genre. This yard session tape featured five strong tracks. Jamal Pre dropped “Hot Spot,” a song that quickly became a favorite in parties and street dances. Quaa’s “Nuh Chat” brought a tough vibe, showing his lyrical skills. Ryme Minista gave us “Killi Killi,” a track that matched the riddim’s raw style. Ryme Minista is known for his hit “Killaz,” which made waves in dancehall circles. Masicka, who would later have big songs like “They Don’t Know,” came in with “Shoot Up Di Place,” showing his sharp delivery. Teejay, who went on to score hits like “Uptop Boss,” fired up the tape with “Gun Dem Buss.” The riddim itself was full of energy, with heavy drums and catchy hooks. Each artist brought their own style, but the riddim kept everything connected. Selectors loved the tape because every song could get a crowd moving. Even years later, you still hear these tracks in yard sessions and on sound systems. This tape helped shape dancehall’s sound in 2015, and it still gets plenty of play today.
