Minstrel Riddim is a 1973 Bunny Striker Lee production issued on an unknown label, with just two cuts carrying the whole set: Cornell Campbell’s The Minstrel and Dennis Alcapone’s Here I Come. Lee, one of reggae’s most prolific studio hands, shapes it around a lean early-70s foundation that leaves plenty of room for Campbell’s smooth vocal lead and Alcapone’s deejay style. With only two versions, the riddim’s identity comes straight from that tight pairing, balancing roots melody and toaster energy in a compact, focused snapshot of the era.
