Sizzla’s “Some How” is the sharpest cut on the Mc Graph Riddim, a 2005 Green Light Promotion juggling that leans into the lean, bristling one-drop-to-digital feel a lot of mid-2000s reggae was riding at the time. Anthony B’s “Fire Bun” and Luciano’s “Trouble It A Come” keep the energy locked in from different angles: one harder-edged and militant, the other smoother and roots-minded, both riding the same stripped-back groove without crowding it. The version closes the set in the way good riddims should, leaving the drum pattern and bassline to do the talking.
