MAJESTY RIDDIM produced by TRINITY RECORDS 2016
Majesty Overview
The Majesty Riddim came together in the studio with a focus on classic reggae sounds. Studio musicians worked closely with the creative director, who wanted to keep the music rooted in tradition but still fresh. The team used live instruments to create a warm, earthy foundation. Their goal was to make a riddim that would inspire artists and listeners alike. At the center of the project was TRINITY RECORDS, a label known for its dedication to conscious reggae. TRINITY RECORDS has a history of supporting artists who use their music to speak about real-life issues. The label’s earlier releases have earned respect in the reggae community for their quality and message. Several artists brought their own style to the Majesty Riddim. St. Matthew The Streetsdisciple delivered “Love Is What We Need,” a song that stands out for its uplifting message. Matthew The Streetsdisciple is recognized for his work in gospel reggae and has performed at major reggae festivals. Urnia Sanel’s “Yeshua” adds a spiritual touch, blending smooth vocals with the riddim’s steady beat. Melvin Banda’s “Jesus Christ Is Coming” continues the spiritual theme, sharing hope and faith through heartfelt lyrics. Anomi’s “Your Mercy” brings a gentle, reflective mood, while L. Souljah’s “Opo Jezus Neim” offers a unique perspective with its roots-inspired delivery. Together, these songs make Majesty Riddim one of the memorable roots reggae releases of 2016.
