Madness Riddim (2019) – Tng Records

In 2019, when soca riddims were leaning hard into carnival-season energy and club-ready hooks, TNG Records came through with “Madness Riddim, ” a five-track project that keeps the focus tight and lively. Tara Lynne’s “Rush” sets the tone with a bright, punchy vocal, while Muzikal’s “Married Man Ting” and Khiara Sherman’s “Remedy” ride the same rhythm from different angles, one a little cheekier, the other smoother and more melodic. Papie’s “Road On Fire” adds another burst of heat, and the instrumental closes things out cleanly, underlining the riddim’s compact, high-tempo feel. Released on June 8, 2019, the project runs just 16 minutes and keeps the lineup to four vocal cuts plus the TNG Records instrumental.
