In 2011, selectors brought the Mad Organ Riddim yard session tape into their sets, giving dancehall fans something fresh to enjoy. This tape featured a mix of established and rising artists, each bringing their own style to the riddim. Da Grynch opened the session with “Mad Organ Version,” setting a strong tone. Maxi Priest & Tippa Irie teamed up for “Like This Like That.” Maxi Priest is known worldwide for his 1990 hit “Close to You,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and made him a global reggae star.
