Loud Overview
When the Loud Riddim parade set played at fetes and parades in 2017, fans could not get enough. The energy was high, and the crowd responded with nonstop dancing and singing. This soca riddim became a festival favorite, heard across the Caribbean and at carnival events worldwide. Each artist brought their own style to the Loud Riddim project. Arthur delivered “Remember Me,” giving the riddim a catchy, memorable hook. Benz’s “Feeling Sick” added more excitement to the set, building on his growing reputation in the soca world. Dada Music, who also produced the riddim, led with the title track “Loud Riddim.” Dada Music is known for shaping the modern sound of Caribbean festivals, and has produced several popular soca projects over the years. Flipo, well known for his hit “Oh Gosh,” brought his energetic vocals to the project, while Janet Azzouz contributed “You Run,” adding a unique touch to the mix. Each song stood out but still fit perfectly into the overall carnival vibe. The band leader for the project was Dada Music, and the release came out on the Dada Music label. With Dada Music at the center, the Loud Riddim parade set became the soundtrack for countless carnival moments in 2017, making it one of the most played and loved riddims of the year.
