By the time Loco Jab Riddim landed in 2017, Grenada Soca had already leaned hard into the island’s jab-jab energy, and this four-track set keeps that carnival bite front and center. The rhythm has that sharp, percussive push you want for road music, with enough room for the voices to punch through rather than getting buried in the bounce. V’ghn’s “Loco Jab” with Blaxx is the obvious hooky centerpiece, pairing two strong Grenadian voices on a tune that feels made for bacchanal moments, while Terra D Governor’s “Dollarz” brings a cheekier, money-chasing angle to the same groove.
