Little Angel Reggaeton Riddim – Scory Kovitch

Warm pulse. Scory Kovitch’s Little Angel Reggaeton Riddim sits right in that sweet spot where dancehall gets a Latin tilt without losing its yard edge, and the 2016 set keeps the energy moving across eight cuts. Ce’Cile’s “Le Le” and Jah Vinci’s “Ruff Times” give the riddim its most immediate reggae-dancehall lift, while Colonel Reyel and Mamy Polanco push the project a little further into Francophone and Spanish-flavoured territory. The instrumentals stay lean and percussive, leaving room for the voices to do the talking, and that’s part of the charm here. Scory Kovitch himself anchors the release with the title instrumental, but Ce’Cile’s punchy turn leaves the clearest mark.
