LEVEL ONE RIDDIM produced by DUTTY LIFE PRODUCTIONS 2019
Level One Overview
The island beat of Level One Riddim began in a small studio, where the arranger carefully shaped each melody and drum pattern. The goal was to capture the true energy of the Caribbean carnival. From the first notes, the riddim was made to get people moving, with every instrument adding to the festive sound. DUTTY LIFE PRODUCTIONS, a label known for its influence in Caribbean music, led the project. Over the years, this production house has been behind several popular releases, helping to shape modern soca and dancehall sounds. Their work on Level One Riddim showed their skill in bringing together both established and rising talents. Two artists stood out on this riddim. Muddy brought his unique style to the track "Madadada," giving the beat a raw, exciting edge. Squeeze Head delivered "Ready For Mass," a song that quickly became a favorite at parties and on the road. Squeeze Head, known for his high-energy performances, had already made a name for himself with tracks like "Big Ride," which saw regional success. The journey from studio to street was fast. As soon as Level One Riddim was released, it spread across the islands. DJs played it at every fete, and masqueraders danced to its rhythm during carnival parades. The songs "Madadada" by Muddy and "Ready For Mass" by Squeeze Head became essential parts of the 2019 carnival soundtrack.
