Boss Level Riddim lands a little cleaner and leaner than the bigger, more crowded soca packages Swick B Productions can be associated with, but it still has enough punch to move the fete. Nailah Blackman’s “Boss” sets the tone with a sharp, road-ready hook, while Problem Child’s “Party On Fire” and Terri Lyons’ “Fling Bam Bam” keep the energy up over a brisk, bass-heavy cut that leaves room for the vocals to jab through. Shal Marshall’s “Brap Brap” adds a bit of cheek, and the instrumental lets you hear how tightly the groove is locked in. Released on September 17, 2021, the five-track set also includes the title instrumental from Swick B, with Fox Fuse handling production credits and Problematic Media on the release.
