Kingston Rock Riddim – Daddy Dragon

In 2008, when dancehall was still cycling through bare-bones digital cuts and hard little party anthems, Daddy Dragon’s Kingston Rock Riddim kept the focus tight with just three vocal tunes and a version. Kiprich and Jiggy Spuggy’s “Never Never” feels like the anchor here, while Spready Glory and Latisha’s “Tinco To Your Manco” and Swizzle Body Girls’ “Tax And Tear” lean into the playful, cheeky side of the era.
