1972’s Just Say Who Riddim comes out of the Studio One/Jackpot camp and is tied to Bunny Lee, Brad Osborne and Coxsone Dodd, with Horace Andy and Delroy Wilson carrying the key vocal cuts and Jah Stitch adding Black Harmony Killer to the lineup. The set also folds in dub versions from King Tubby, Prince Jammy and the Aggrovators, including Just Say Dub … Who and A Heavy Dub, which gives the riddim a strong early-70s roots-and-dub feel. Horace Andy’s original Just Say Who dates from Studio One, while the rhythm itself also turned up on later versions in 1975, showing how long this one kept moving through Jamaican studios.
