Burning Bush Riddim – Star Trail

1996 reggae pressure from Star Trail, Burning Bush Riddim brings Anthony B’s Fire Pon Rome and Run Come alongside a version cut from Sly and Robbie. Produced by Richard Bell for Star Trail Records, the riddim is remembered for its nyahbinghi-driven, deep roots feel, with drums and percussion carrying most of the weight. Anthony B was right in the middle of Star Trail’s run at the time, and Fire Pon Rome became one of his defining early songs, giving the set a sharp, conscious edge.
