Just Be Good To Me Riddim - Music Works, Anchor

Just Be Good To Me produced by Augustus Clarke for Music Works, Anchor in 1988

Produced by Augustus Clarke for Music Works in 1988, Just Be Good To Me brings together Rebel Princess, Cocoa Tea, and Shabba Ranks on a small but memorable cut that later picked up the Dancehall Good To We version and Papa San’s 1990 follow-up on Anchor. The track ties into Clarke’s late-’80s run of sharp digital dancehall, and Cocoa Tea’s name fits that era especially well, since he was already making a strong mark around this time. With only three cuts, the riddim keeps the focus tight and leaves the vocal combination front and center.

Just Be Good To Me Tracklist:

    1. Dub – Dancehall Good To We Version (1990)
    2. Papa San – Dancehall Good To We (1990)
    3. Rebel Princess & Cocoa Tea & Shabba Ranks – Just Be Good To Me (1988)
