The Jab Jab Mad Riddim soca release brought fresh energy to the 2019 carnival season. This collection featured three standout tracks: “More Wood” by Phadda Blaxx, “Cock Blockers” by Chucky & Livewire, and “Dutty Jab” by Master J. Each song delivered a unique vibe, but together, they captured the lively spirit of jab jab music and the excitement of the road. Phadda Blaxx led the way with “More Wood,” a tune that quickly became a crowd favorite. Phadda Blaxx is no stranger to soca fans. He is well-known for his hit song “Leh Go,” which made a big impact at Trinidad and Tobago Carnival in 2011. His style and energy in “More Wood” matched the high expectations of his fans. Chucky & Livewire teamed up for “Cock Blockers,” bringing a playful approach to the riddim. Their collaboration added a fun, interactive element to the release. Chucky, in particular, is recognized for his strong presence in the Grenadian soca scene. Master J rounded out the project with “Dutty Jab.” His contribution kept the momentum going and helped make the riddim a staple at 2019 fetes. The production behind Jab Jab Mad Riddim came from Lashley “Motto” Winter, a producer from Saint Lucia known for his work in the soca genre. Motto’s production skills have been widely recognized, and he has helped push the jab jab sound to new heights. Looking back, this soca drop was a must-have at every major party and parade in 2019.
