In 2019, a lively soca track known as the "island party cut" became a festival favorite across many Caribbean carnivals. The song’s rhythm and energy made it a popular choice on carnival trucks and stages, bringing people together in celebration. Several artists helped make this release stand out. Dash, known for his energetic style, delivered "Loose It," a song that quickly caught the attention of partygoers. Pupa Leendi’s "Big Up Yuh Whole Self" added a positive vibe to the mix. Muddy teamed up with Boogie B for "De Price," bringing strong vocals and catchy lyrics. Terri Lyons, who won the International Soca Monarch title in 2020, contributed "Mad Af," showing her powerful voice and stage presence.
