Inspector Riddim (2019) – Stainless Music

By 2019, Stainless Music had already carved out a lane for hard-edged dancehall riddims, and Inspector sits neatly in that catalogue with a compact six-track run led by Sean Paul, T. O. K, Mr Vegas and Million Stylez. The production leans on a stripped, militant pulse rather than glossy crossover polish, with the clean and raw versions of “Sufferer” and “Bounce” giving the project a proper selector-friendly shape. Sean Paul’s double appearance and T. O. K’s N. O. R. E. -assisted cut do most of the heavy lifting, but the whole thing hangs on a tight, percussive groove and a bass line that stays low and insistent instead of trying to overpower the vocalists.
