Built around Heartical and BDF’s 2025 I’m A Revolutionist Riddim, this reggae set brings together 13 cuts from a strong mix of roots voices and veteran names, including Johnny Clarke, Macka B, Horace Andy, Trevor Junior, Straika D, Neto Yuth, and Guidan. The tracklist moves from Johnny Clarke’s Never Give Up On Jah and Macka B’s The Emperor Of Ethiopia to Horace Andy’s Secretly, with Rootsamala, Green Cross, and Straika D adding more variety across the same riddim. The project also includes Revolutionist In Dub, which rounds out the package with a dub version of the title theme. Heartical and Basque Dub Foundation frame the album as a tribute to Freddie McGregor’s 1976 Revolutionist song, and the release lands as a clean one-riddim showcase with strong roots and rub-a-dub character.
