Young Blood Productions has long been tied to Chad Simpson, better known as Mr. G and Goofy, whose label has been part of the dancehall and reggae landscape since the late 1990s. By the time Baba Boom Riddim arrived in August 2025, the imprint was still drawing on the kind of veteran authority that comes with a catalog built around hard-hitting Jamaican singles and riddims.

This one is a short but heavy set, voiced by Buju Banton, Capleton and Richie Spice. The music sits in a modern reggae pocket with enough forward drive to keep it moving, and the mix sounds made for a juggling system rather than a glossy pop crossover.
