    I Hold The Handle produced by Coxsone Dodd, Adrian Genus, King Jammy for El Paso, Studio One, Harmony House, Razor Sound, Channel One, Justice, Klasse 1, Free Willy in 1968

    I Hold The Handle Riddim collects versions cut for Coxsone Dodd, Adrian Genus and King Jammy sides, with the post placing the roots of the riddim in 1968 and linking it to labels and sound like Studio One, El Paso, Channel One, Harmony House, Justice, Razor Sound, Klasse 1 and Free Willy. The tracklist reaches across eras, from the Heptones’ original I Hold The Handle and Edi Fitzroy’s Handle And Blade to later cuts by Anthony Malvo and Anthony Red Rose, Beenie Man and U Roy, Buju Banton, Capleton and Bushman.
