HUDSON HORNS RIDDIM produced by BIG LEAGUE PRODUCTIONS 2016
Hudson Horns Overview
In 2016, dancehall parties in Jamaica were alive with a new sound. The bashment flow, with its heavy bass and energetic rhythms, was at the heart of every street dance and club night. This was the setting where the Hudson Horns Riddim became a true yard anthem, bringing people together on the dancefloor. The riddim was built by BIG LEAGUE PRODUCTIONS, a label known for bringing fresh energy to dancehall music. The label has a history of working with both new and established artists, always aiming to push the sound forward. Their approach to building tracks made the Hudson Horns Riddim stand out. The beats were bold, and the melodies were catchy, making it easy for artists to shine. This compilation featured some of the scene’s most recognizable voices. New Kidz brought his signature style to the track "Gallis Icon." Zagu Zarr delivered "Nah Lef It," adding his own flavor to the riddim. Harry Toddler, famous as a member of the Scare Dem Crew, contributed with "Money." Cecile, known for her hit "Can You Do the Work" with Sean Paul, gave fans "Never Lef." Stylo G, who gained international attention with "Soundbwoy," added "Sim Card" to the project. Other songs on the riddim included Gully Bop Ft.Little Love with "Waah Money Run," Bling Dawg’s "Wuk Di Gal Dem," and Major Mackeral’s "Dadda Dan Who." Together, these tracks showed the power of Jamaican studios in 2016.
