Hot Spot Riddim leans into a sharp, mid-tempo dancehall swing with enough bite in the drums to keep the energy taut and street-ready, the kind of rhythm that leaves room for catchy hooks without getting too glossy. Yaad Gang keep the cast tight: Tamique’s “Mi Nuh Care” carries the brash, no-nonsense edge, S Star pushes things a little further with the more provocative “Back Shot, ” and Richie West smooths it out on “Heart Beat, ” while Lymit’s “Poor Mama” brings a more grounded note to the set.
