Hot Sauce Riddim – Christeez Muzik

For Christeez Muzik, Hot Sauce Riddim sits in the 2021 dancehall run as a fairly loaded juggling, with 18 tracks and 16 different voices moving through the rhythm. I Waata’s “Wull On” and Chec Boss’s “Dope Boi Fresh” set the tone early, while Kiprich and KemDon’s “Money Up” and Kalado’s “Opulent” keep the project in that streetwise, money-chasing pocket; the beat itself has a sharp, no-nonsense spring to it, with enough room for both clean cuts and raw versions to ride the same pattern. There’s also a nice bit of contrast in the cast, from Sustain and BadGyal Jade to Marlon Samuels (Icon) and Hot Frass, which keeps the sequence from feeling one-note.
