Golden House Production’s Hostage Riddim landed in 2024 as a dancehall juggling with 16 tracks and a strong mix of veteran voices. Jah Mason’s Work Hard, Sizzla’s So Fresh, and Beenie Man’s A So It Go give the set some of its sharpest early pull, while Vybz Kartel’s White Collar Criminal and Anthony B’s Turn Around add more weight later in the sequence. The riddim was released on June 21, 2024, and also includes cuts from Mad Cobra, Macka Diamond, Turbulence, and Culture T, with an instrumental closing the project. Golden House keeps the rhythm rough and contemporary, but still anchored in the kind of singjay and hardcore dancehall energy that has long made its productions work.
